Board the research vessel Conqueror right in front of the Aquarium of the Pacific, experience a local research cruise and spend the afternoon touring the many attractions of Long Beach's own world class aquarium. This program can be adapted for all ages.

Break out your lab coats and log books, you’ll be doing some pretty sophisticated analysis of local marine habitats during your research cruise. Students truly become oceanographers for the day as they inspect ocean sediments, measure and record the contents of an otter trawl, view marine plankton and sieve burrowing benthic creatures. They’ll compliment their experience with a comparative analysis of animals from different habitats and climate zones as they walk through the Aquarium of the Pacific.
