| A Hands-On Adventure
Break out your lab coats and log books,
you’ll be doing some pretty sophisticated
analysis of local marine habitats during
your research cruise. Students truly
become oceanographers for the day as
they inspect ocean sediments, measure
and record the contents of an otter
trawl, view marine plankton and sieve
burrowing benthic creatures. They’ll
compliment their experience with a comparative
analysis of animals from different habitats
and climate zones as they walk through
the Aquarium
of the Pacific.
